Blend Technical Leadership with Project Coordination

We are looking for a technically grounded Project Manager to contribute to the planning and execution of substation and cabling projects. The role is split evenly between project management tasks and hands-on engineering work, offering a rare opportunity to influence both delivery strategy and technical outcomes. This full-time freelance role begins immediately and will run for 12 months, with a potential extension.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will provide support across two domains. On the project management side, you will help coordinate timelines, interface with stakeholders, and maintain progress tracking. On the technical side, you will review designs, ensure compliance, and contribute to the successful delivery of engineering scopes.

You will be based on-site at a client office in Copenhagen, Aarhus, or Kolding and work closely with both engineering and project management teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage project planning, status reporting, and milestone tracking
• Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and cross-team alignment
• Review engineering documentation and verify compliance with design standards
• Support quality assurance of technical deliverables and resolve engineering issues
• Provide structured input on scope changes, risk, and technical progress
• Support procurement, design reviews, and integration between engineering disciplines

What We are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years experience in project managemnet and electrical or infrastructure engineering
• Proven experience managing or supporting energy infrastructure projects
• Understanding of substation and cabling systems
• Strong organisational and technical communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams on-site
