Build Real-Time Control Infrastructure for Energy Storage

A battery energy storage project entering construction requires an experienced OT Systems Integrator to support configuration and testing of communication interfaces between BESS systems and grid operators.

This on-site freelance role is critical to operational readiness and performance integrity.

About the Role

You will define and implement communications between EMS, BMS, SCADA, and grid-facing platforms. Your work supports visibility, remote control, and fault handling of critical storage systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Configure and validate communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, DNP3)
• Interface with EMS and SCADA teams to ensure seamless integration
• Support testing, commissioning, and grid compliance reporting
• Document interface logic and handover protocols
• Resolve real-time integration issues during commissioning
• Collaborate with OEMs and EPC contractors

What We are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in OT/SCADA integration in renewables or storage
• Proficiency in industrial protocols and RTU configuration
• English or Danish language fluency
