A rapidly growing renewable asset owner is seeking a freelance Financial Controller to support portfolio reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

This role provides broad exposure across project-level and consolidated accounts, financing structures, and operational performance.

About the Role

You will manage accounting and reporting for wind, solar, and BESS assets across Scandinavia. You will coordinate external audits, financial close, and stakeholder reports.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Maintain asset registers and project cost tracking
• Support audit and tax reporting processes
• Ensure alignment with IFRS and internal controls
• Develop reporting tools for asset managers and investors

What We are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial controlling or accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS and project finance structures
• Strong Excel and reporting system skills
• English fluency
