Advance Hydrogen Processing Infrastructure for the Green Transition

A green hydrogen production facility in Boden is expanding, requiring a Process Engineer to manage compression, storage, and pipeline interface systems. This full-time role will support commissioning and scaling of hydrogen operations.

Your work will improve safety, throughput, and efficiency in a first-of-its-kind Nordic hydrogen facility.

About the Role

You will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing compression units, interconnecting pipelines, and hydrogen purification systems. You will support daily operations, contribute to plant modifications, and engage with OEMs and safety authorities.

The role combines process optimization, HAZOP participation, and implementation of digital process monitoring tools.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee technical performance of hydrogen compressors
• Troubleshoot process bottlenecks and implement design upgrades
• Support planning and execution of HAZOP and safety assessments
• Collaborate with OEMs for system integration and maintenance
• Analyze process data and suggest operational improvements
• Maintain updated PFDs, P&IDs, and system documentation

What We are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Degree in process, mechanical, or chemical engineering
• +6 years in process roles, preferably hydrogen, gas, or energy
• Strong safety culture and process analysis skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English
