Ensure Safe Delivery of Complex Electrical Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to support the planning and execution of substation and cabling projects. This full-time on-site position will be focused on monitoring and improving safety performance across both design and implementation phases. The role is available immediately and is offered on a 12-month freelance contract with the potential for extension.

About the Role

You will serve as the key safety lead embedded within the project team, working closely with engineers, contractors, and management to enforce high standards of compliance.

The position is based on-site in Copenhagen, Aarhus, or Kolding. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, guiding safe practices, and driving continuous improvement in line with regulatory frameworks.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and internal procedures
• Perform risk assessments and advise on mitigation strategies
• Conduct site safety audits and inspections
• Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and on-site briefings
• Contribute to incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for stakeholders

What We are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years experience in health and safety roles within the infrastructure or energy sectors
• Strong knowledge of Danish and EU safety regulations
• Familiarity with substation and electrical safety practices
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse teams
• Skilled in documentation, safety reporting, and regulatory communication
